What Your Donation Supports
Our Campers' Sessions
We have a unique setup with occupational, physical, speech, and music therapy enrichment + school readiness activities all in one space, offered twice a week over the summer. It is a blessing for many families to not have to coordinate all of these and for parents to have the opportunity to do other things while their kids are in a safe place, but it can also be expensive for many. We would love to continue to raise funding to provide scholarship to those who need it and/or lessen the cost of camp sessions for all campers.
Paid Counselor Positions
Our campers get the most benefit from enrichment activities when the ratio of adults to campers is as close to 1:1 as possible. We would love to raise funding to staff 12-15 paid counselor positions. This would to provide our campers with consistent, familiar faces over the course of the summer.
Behavior/Sensory Specialist Roles
We recognized an area of growth in 2025 when several families approached us asking for help supporting their kids' behavior and sensory needs at home, school, and church. We budgeted to add the role of behavior/sensory specialist to be able to address those requests for help. This summer, with an increasing number of campers preparing to enter a traditional school setting, the need was even greater. We really needed two specialists to support those campers and partner with parents in a meaningful way.
